Love. It’s a word we all say, and few of us really analyze.
Last night I was blessed in our service at church…and that blessing was to feel the uncompromising love of God for his children. As we sang “how he loves” in our service, the part that says “if his grace is an ocean, then we’re all sinking” I felt all the struggles, and pains of the people in our congregation, and then God’s sincere love and care for their souls. His care to take their burdens away, his desire for them to lay their struggles at his feet.
It’s uncompromising. It’s real. It’s sincere. and it doesn’t matter where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you’ll be in the future, its still uncompromising. There’s nothing you can do to make God love you more, and there’s nothing you can do to make God love you any less.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.–Romans 8:38-39
