If your life is boring, it’s not God’s fault.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”- Ephesians 2:10

How many people do you hear whine and complain about the redundancy of life, and how bored they always are? I really love this one- “I’m so bored, someone text me at 1-800-lame.”

God has placed people all around us that are yearning for a word from God, and they don’t even realize it. Jesus said “follow me and i’ll make you fishers of men.” If we claim to follow Jesus, but are failing to do any man fishing…then are we really following Jesus the way we claim to?

Wanna know something that isn’t boring? A thing called “treasure hunting.” A group of believers come together and pray to God and say “Ok God, we need a person, a place, a description of that person, and something to pray with them about. And we are going to wipe our minds clean, and we are trusting that the first thing you place within our mind is from you.” So these radicals will get descriptions like “Wal-Mart, deodorant isle, man with a red plaid shirt on, shoulder pain.” And ofcourse, they think it’s all stuff they just came up with out of nowhere…but no. That’s from God. So they make their way to Wal-Mart to find a man in a red plaid shirt in the deodorant isle. Then from there they approach the man, pray with him about his shoulder pain, and show him on the piece of paper the descriptors which God gave them.

Boring? not at all. Our God is a God of adventure. He is YEARNING for you to put yourself on the faith limb. Where you will fail miserably without his divine intervention. Because guess what, when we live our safe little structured lifestyles without giving God any room to work with because of our detailed, busy filled schedules, He’s robbed of the glory that he rightfully deserves.

So I challenge all my readers to put yourself in a position of boldness and vulnerability this next week for God and see what he does for you!

Much Love and God Bless!
