With all the Gay rights stuff going on right now, it’s very important to know why we as christians believe what we believe. I do not support the gay lifestyle because it says plainly and clearly in the Bible, (Which i believe in) that it is wrong.
But when we approach people with other opinions besides our own in the attitude of picking a fight… we have already sinned ourselves. I understand that we need to stand firm in what we believe, but that doesn’t mean being a jerk to everyone else who believes differently than we do.
Love conquers all. And when you stand up for what you believe in, but you do it out of Love and don’t condemn anyone based upon their beliefs, not only do you mend relationships and not tear them down, but you set yourself free from that bondage of thinking higher of yourself than you do someone else. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
Just love people. You don’t have to agree with them. But you are called to love them.
Much Love and God Bless!
